Inspiration struck during the 10+ snow days this year and felt groceries were the result (as an upcoming baby/kid gift for an expecting friend). I was able to work on them a bit more this past week during spring break and so far the count is up to:
1 grocery bag
1 banana
1 yellow squash
1 donut
1 oreo-type cookie
3 strawberries
6 eggs
1 egg carton
1 potato
1 eggplant (not shown)
3 carrots
Also, Tiff and I had a bit of fun playing dress up before St. Patrick's day, but we were missing the real twin in TX.

Wow you hair is so long! I am trying to let mine grow out but it takes forever! I like the matching dresses, I wish we had those at our ON when I looked for green clothes.
Thank you for being my other "twin". I must say that I am impressed with your sewing.
Food looks mighty yummy! Can't wait to see the eggplant. Two beuatiful girls in two very green dresses! Love, MomK
Where's the bread?? MomK
I love, love, love the felt food! I have thought about making some for several years, but somehow I never got beyond the thinking-about-it stage. Your new niece will love them when she is a little bigger!
(P.S. Did you ever end up making roman shades for your living room? I am moving on to some for our dining room - the ironing of the fabric is bogging me down already, however.)
LOVE the felt food! i have seen them all over the blogosphere!
(it's rachel m by the way. i have joined the blogging world. it's my one escape from this hellhole. other than my loving husband of course. and the two-yes two-dogs)
Rachel - need to call you. Thanks for the comment! How's the studying?
Chris - still working on the shades, hopefully the first set will be up by this summer.
