And for the most exciting thing that has happened over the last couple of weekends...we locked ourselves out of the duplex on the way to get Chinese take-out and had to call a locksmith. Not only had we locked ourselves out, we locked all of our current ID in the duplex as well! So we had a bit of sticky situation, but fortunately the locksmith believed us and we were able to get back in (at the lovely cost of $45). The picture below shows what we found when we got in to find our keys.

The mums are beautiful and the gourds look great. Sorry to hear about the keys! You guys must have been really hungry! Tk looks a bit tired-amazing she got the laundry done! Enjoy the fall! Love, MomK
Well, it had to happen sometime!
Do you have a nice neighbor who would like to keep a key? (Not that the neighbor would be home when you needed...)
We put up some halloween decorations, but since the heatwave finally broke here, it seems more fall-ish as well. Hopefully the gourds will show up in the stores soon. And I love the pic of the tired sister! Greetings to her from me, too.
Love to read about your creations and adventures as newlyweds! Can you believe that you are practically 3/4 to your first anniversary?
aunt s from the south, but now out west...
Can you believe it is going to be fall this weekend? Where did our summer go? I love your mums they are so pretty! Can't wait to see you on Friday! Hopefully we will get to make something from scratch this weekend maybe more croutons that I am enjoying now. Nice picture of my twin now where am I in your blog.

Now I don't feel so bad about locking myself out of the duplex soon after I moved in. I had just had an extra key made and came home with groceries to carry in. I took some inside, layed my keys and cell phone on the table. Then I proceeded to go get the rest of my groceries that were left in the van. When I went out the door it closed behind me. I walked to a neigbors house who had a master key for all duplexes and he got me back in. I like your Mum and the pretty gourds. I planted a Mum today by my front door. There is just something about Mums and fall. Love, GmaH
happy constitution day. :)
i like your adventuresome fruit picks. how was the spiky melon?
and i think it is genetic to both lock yourself out and to photo-document that experience.
